Confidential Jobs is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a multifamily portfolio across the US. You will support asset-level strategies to enhance property performance, increase value, and maximize returns.

The role involves collaborating with property management, construction, and senior leadership to monitor operations, budgets, and capital projects, with periodic property visits and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, real estate analysis, or regional property management.
• Multifamily experience strongly preferred; value-add exposure is a plus.
• Strong understanding of real estate financial analysis, accounting, CapEx, leasing, and property-level operating metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with property management systems such as Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, or Entrata.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of asset-level business plans and initiatives to improve property performance and value.
• Partner with property management and construction teams to monitor operations, capital projects, budgets, timelines, and execution.
• Analyze property-level financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and pro formas.
• Identify performance trends and variances and provide recommendations to improve NOI and investment returns.
• Monitor capital expenditures, renovation programs, construction projects, and ROI expectations.
• Evaluate occupancy, rental rates, leasing performance, market conditions, and comparable properties.
• Assist with revenue management and strategies to maximize property performance.
• Prepare quarterly, annual, and ad hoc asset performance reporting for senior leadership and investment stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic property visits to evaluate operations, property conditions, and construction progress.
• Support hold/sell analyses, refinancing evaluations, and long-term asset strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, increase revenue, and control expenses.
• Collaborate across departments to align investment strategies and execution.
