Job summary

OneDigital is seeking a Payroll Specialist to execute accurate multi-state payroll processing, audits, and process improvements. The role interfaces with HR and finance to optimize payroll workflows and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws across states.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in payroll, experience with major payroll systems, and a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field. A strong customer service mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of payroll experience in a dedicated payroll function across multiple states.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• Experience with payroll systems and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-state payroll and related activities including deductions and bonuses.
• Handle payroll processing, tax setup, HRIS configuration, reporting and audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws.
• Assist with benefits administration and onboarding/offboarding as needed.
