Dynamics Executive Search has partnered with a leading financial services firm to hire a Payroll Manager responsible for end-to-end multi-state payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, you will ensure accurate processing, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with HR, Benefits and Finance to resolve payroll inquiries and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive multi-state payroll experience.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Collaborates with HR, Benefits, and Finance to resolve payroll issues.

Responsibilities

• Process and oversee multi-state payroll using UltiPro.
• Manage payroll changes: new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation updates, deductions, garnishments.
• Review inputs and outputs, resolve complex payroll issues before processing.
• Answer payroll questions from employees and stakeholders.
• Reconcile payroll data and support quarterly and year-end activities (W-2).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations.
• Support payroll across multiple FEINs and entities.
• Prepare payroll reports and perform detailed analyses using Excel.
