Job summary

Joseph Michaels International seeks a seasoned Principal Planner for our Rochester, NH manufacturing facility. This onsite role partners with Operations to align master scheduling, inventory planning, and contract commitments while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

You will lead MRP signals, coordinate with production, and deliver analytics to leadership, while mentoring the Planning team and ensuring ISO safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification would be a plus.
• Proficiency with Oracle EBS including ASCP.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
• Willing to relocate to Rochester, NH with company assistance.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage critical supply chain deadlines aligned with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
• Drive accuracy of MRP signals to support production and inventory flow and remain fully compliant with internal policies and customer requirements.
• Partner with Operations and Production to resolve issues, remove constraints, and keep manufacturing on track.
• Monitor schedules, track performance, and proactively mitigate risks to delivery timelines.
• Identify and manage end-of-life inventory and PO or work order liability and new product implementations for the program(s) with no supervision.
• Leverage data from multiple systems to deliver analytics and insights to leadership; provide assistance and training to others within the Planning team.
• Act as a key escalation point within Planning, influencing decisions and driving cross-functional solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall supply chain performance.
• Provide guidance and training on Oracle ASCP to elevate planning capabilities across the team.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
