Job summary

SMITHS TUBULAR SYSTEMS - LACONIA is seeking a MRO Buyer to manage requisitions and purchasing for maintenance, production, and facilities in a manufacturing setting.

You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, reference BOMs and technical data, and ensure compliant PO processes. This role requires collaboration with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and quality, and involves maintaining stock levels in the tool crib and MSC cabinets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three-five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
