Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Bankruptcy Specialist III (On-Site) to manage and audit complex bankruptcy accounts, ensuring timely payments and accurate documentation. The role requires coordinating with trustees, debtors, and attorneys while leveraging PACER and internal systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mortgage bankruptcy, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or extensive mortgage bankruptcy experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Mortgage bankruptcy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex bankruptcy accounts or increased caseload with accuracy.
• Research accounts using PACER and internal systems.
• Prepare and file Transfers of Claim with bankruptcy courts by deadlines.
• Monitor payments per bankruptcy plan and coordinate with trustee or attorney.
• Perform discharge reviews and assess lien release requirements.
• Collaborate with Bankruptcy Litigation, Foreclosure, and Loss Mitigation teams.
