Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required plus ten years of public administration or construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of urban planning, transportation engineering, and public works projects.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates, directs, plans, and coordinates with City departments and partner agencies; assigns projects and programmatic areas of responsibility as required.
• Seeks and evaluates information from a variety of divisions; identifies and resolves issues.
• Recommends and coordinates implementation of project management and process improvements.
• Ensures effective coordination and communication with City departments and partner agency staff, neighborhood associations, the public, media, consultants, and private sector representatives.
• Acts as official representative and liaison for the Project Connect program to City management and external entities; explains and defends programs and negotiates sensitive issues.
• Performs research; develops reports and feasibility studies; presents findings as required.
