Job summary

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) role is to administer the DNI's vision to the ODNI enterprise and provide elite support services across policy, plans, procedures, and cross-functional issues.

The position oversees most ODNI business operations, including executive support, human resources, security, facilities, continuity, governance, policies, and information management.

Qualifications

• This is an excepted service GS-13 position open to the public and all current federal employees at the GS-13 and one level below.
• Current federal employees at GS-11 and below are not eligible for this position and their application will not be forwarded to the hiring manager.
• Applicants must submit SF-50 to verify eligibility (dated within the last 52 weeks from closing date).
• Position is primarily located in Liberty Crossing (LX) with ability to report or travel to alternate locations as needed.
• Ability to work rotating shifts of 12.5 hours in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Thorough knowledge of defense, domestic, and national IC collection issues and capabilities.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work with senior leadership to build consensus and foster collaboration.
• Desired qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Administers DNI vision and direction to the ODNI enterprise, providing elite support services.
• Oversees ODNI business operations including executive support, HR, security, facilities, continuity, governance, policies, & information management.
• Coordinates policy, plans, procedures, and cross-functional issues to enable the ODNI mission.
• collaborates with senior leadership and mission partners to address time-sensitive issues and changes in priorities.
