Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Illinois seeks a Donor Relations Manager to inspire, broaden, and deepen support from mid-level donors ($1,000–$24,999). The role executes strategy and manages the midlevel portfolio to build a robust pipeline for major gifts through personalized communications, events, and database stewardship.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of four years of fundraising experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel statewide and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Familiarity with fundraising software (Salesforce a plus).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-level donors through individualized regular communication and in-person interactions.
• Develop communication strategies and coordinate quarterly newsletters and virtual briefing calls.
• Plan and execute donor stewardship activities and cultivate, solicit, and steward mid-level gifts.
• Support statewide fundraising events and the annual President’s Circle program in collaboration with Events.
• Work with CEO and development leadership, prepare agendas, and track follow-up activities.
