Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Illinois is seeking a Senior Development Associate to assist the Development team in fundraising activities and donor relations. You will support the Chief Development Officer, Senior Director, and other leaders, while maintaining organization-wide confidentiality and integrity in donor interactions.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask to meet fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1–3 years fundraising experience or related database management, research, and writing.
• Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with fundraising database programs.

Responsibilities

• 55% Major & Individual Giving Support: maintain moves management system and KPI tracking; ensure timelines and deadlines are met; lead major gift mailing campaigns and coordinate with boards and PPFA for donor lists.
• 30% Data and Donor Relations: assist gift entry, process donations, manage acknowledgments, perform donor research, and prepare briefs for leadership.
• 15% Development Administrative Support: provide executive support to the development leadership team; coordinate board meetings and donor materials.
• Other Responsibilities: remain informed on PPIL policies and values; perform other duties as assigned.
