Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in metals or industrial sales, 3+ years of direct BDR leadership, and strong CRM/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

3+ years directly managing BDRs or industrial sales teams.
7+ years in business development/sales in metals, steel distribution, or industrial supply.
Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ERP platforms.
U.S. Person for ITAR compliance and related restrictions.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of BDRs, conduct weekly 1:1s, and drive performance.
Ensure reporting hygiene: call notes, activity logs, and pipeline tracking in Salesforce.
Collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing to refine lead routing and campaigns.
Track commodity pricing and market trends with purchasing to support inventory planning.
Act as mediator to resolve scheduling, capacity, and resource allocation conflicts.
Conduct field ride-alongs and attend major industry trade shows with BDRs.
