West Morris Area YMCA seeks a Senior Director of Membership and Wellness to drive membership growth and engagement while guiding wellness programs within a strong nonprofit culture. This role leads inclusive customer service excellence and integrates member experiences across departments.

The position emphasizes strategic planning, staff development, and fiscal stewardship to sustain mission-driven outcomes and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment is preferred.
• Proficient with standard business software and MS Office suite.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership of the Membership Department, including sales, onboarding and member services.
• Oversee Wellness Department supervision and ensure programs align with budgets and priorities.
• Develop and manage the Membership Dept annual operating budget and payroll targets.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop membership staff to foster accountability and hospitality.
