Job summary

The Westfield Area YMCA seeks a Member Services professional ready to grow membership, build connections and member engagement.

The Assistant Director of Cranford YMCA Member Services will oversee the Membership Unit of the Cranford YMCA operation with regards to the development and administration of the Cranford YMCA’s membership budget, the overall quality and delivery of membership services, and member retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing required.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing budgets and financial acumen.
• ASHI BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of employment.
• YMCA Team Leader Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cranford YMCA Membership unit and budget administration.
• Ensure quality and delivery of membership services and enrollments.
• Supervise all Team Leaders at Cranford; coordinate with Main Y.
• Support Association Risk Management and safety protocols.
• Drive member retention, new memberships, and program promotions.
• Manage Accounts Receivable related to Cranford YMCA dues.
• Lead community outreach and represent Cranford YMCA in partnerships.
• Plan trainings related to CRM software and membership policies.
