Job summary

Zenith, Detroit, seeks a Planner, Strategy to support day‑to‑day media planning and strategy for our client. You will help develop, execute, and steward media plans, report to the Supervisor/AMD, Strategy, and ensure alignment with client objectives.

The role requires a BA/BS, 1+ year in media planning/strategy, agency experience preferred, and familiarity with cross‑channel media and analytics tools. Strong written and verbal skills, deadline discipline, and willingness to learn new software

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred.
• 1+ year in media planning/strategy; agency experience preferred.
• Familiar with cross‑channel media and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of and execute strategy for the functional area.
• Develop media strategy and recommendations under supervisor guidance.
• Present media plans and provide plan maintenance and updates.
• Manage flowcharts and budgets for media plan development.
• Support analytics and competitive client deliverables using strategy tools.
• Review media buys for proper execution across national and local media.
• Meet with vendors to analyze value and applicability of channels.
• Prepare and issue buying specs and guidelines to buyers.
• Ensure delivery goals and budgets are met in negotiations.
