Job summary

Avalere Health in New York seeks a Media Finance Manager to lead end-to-end media billing, vendor financial management, and cross-functional finance alignment.

Reporting to the Media Operations Director, you will own media OOP spend, partner with AP/AR, and drive standardized financial workflows across agencies.

The role requires 3-5+ years in media finance and a Bachelor’s in Finance or related field; strong analytics, communication, and process rigor are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Media Studies, or Communications.
• 3-5+ years of experience in media finance, agency finance, or media operations.
• Strong understanding of media billing processes, reconciliation, and vendor management.
• Experience with AP/AR teams and financial systems.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of the media vendor billing lifecycle, including airtime process, invoice collection and approval workflows, and invoice coding; resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Manage media OOP spend across Avalere Health and provide visibility through reporting and regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with AP/AR teams to align billing timelines and resolve discrepancies; maintain accurate financial records.
• Participate in weekly and monthly client team meetings to report reconciliation, discrepancies, and forecasts.
• Support vendor onboarding from a financial perspective; ensure vendors adhere to timelines and requirements.
