Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). You will oversee the MDS process and manage PDPM to optimize reimbursement while supporting resident care goals.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure, deep knowledge of MDS and PDPM, and experience with MDS software and EHR systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure required.
• Strong knowledge of MDS assessment process and PDPM.
• Experience coordinating MDS in SNF preferred.
• Familiarity with MDS software and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MDS coordination and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage PDPM guidelines and documentation for accurate reimbursement.
• Review residents' records and complete MDS assessments within deadlines.
• Develop individualized care plans based on MDS results with interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct audits and provide training to staff on MDS requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social work and other teams.
• Identify opportunities to optimize reimbursement under PDPM.
• Educate staff on PDPM documentation best practices and guidelines.
• Ensure data management and reporting for management review.
