Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced PDPM Coordinator/MDS Coordinator for a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will oversee the MDS process, ensure timely assessments, and optimize PDPM reimbursement through accurate coding and documentation.

You will collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other professionals to develop individualized care plans, perform audits, and train staff on MDS and PDPM guidelines. Strong regulatory knowledge and EHR experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating MDS assessments and PDPM coding.
• Knowledge of state and federal MDS regulations and PDPM guidelines.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the MDS process and ensure regulatory compliance for assessments.
• Coordinate initial, significant change, quarterly and annual MDS assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Conduct audits and quality checks on MDS documentation and coding.
• Analyze data to optimize PDPM reimbursement and financial outcomes.
• Provide staff education on MDS requirements, coding and PDPM practices.
