Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Clinical Reimbursement Director/SNF MDS Coordinator to oversee the MDS process, ensure timely assessments, and support accurate PDPM reimbursement in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment.

In this role, you will coordinate MDS assessments, supervise data collection, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and drive care plans, quality assurance, and staff education to maximize resident outcomes and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
• Deep knowledge of MDS processes and PDPM requirements.
• Experience coordinating MDS across interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• MDS coordination across initial, significant change, quarterly, and annual assessments.
• Manage and optimize PDPM-related coding and documentation.
• Review medical records, observe conditions, and interview residents and families for MDS data.
• Develop individualized care plans based on MDS findings and ensure updates.
• Perform QA audits on MDS data and educate staff on guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social work, and other professionals.
• Analyze MDS data to identify reimbursement opportunities and work with finance.
• Provide staff education on MDS, coding guidelines, and PDPM.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state MDS, documentation, and reimbursement regulations.
• Collect and report data related to MDS, reimbursement, and resident outcomes.
