Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Material and Production Planning Manager to develop and implement a strategy for materials management, aligning with business objectives and improving material flow while reducing costs. You will work with the Supply Chain to ensure timely and cost-effective materials, parts, and services.

The role requires leadership of planning activities, optimization of inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective production control and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience leading a materials/production team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Advanced expertise in master scheduling, production control, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and tactical execution of production planning, master scheduling and production control.
• Oversee minimum inventory thresholds, safety stock, material control, and stores functions.
• Align demand with manufacturing capacity, material availability, and execution.
• Drive the SIOP process for the Aerospace Instrumentation business.
