Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Material/Production Planner in Portland, OR to develop and maintain detailed production schedules and material plans across the full production cycle. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure timely material availability and optimal resource use.

The role requires 4–6 years in electro-mechanical planning, APICS certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience with Planning, preferably in an electro-mechanical production environment.
• APICS training or certification is strongly preferred.
• Materials management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP Systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project related duties.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver license.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, production plans, and material requirements lists in accordance with the Master Production Schedule, for products, proposal efforts and production processes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality, and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities and resources to meet production schedules.
• Provide input to management regarding issues including scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes, and backlogs.
• Work with ERP systems, including SAP, to effectively manage materials and production scheduling supporting our production process.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors and the Materials team to resolve material and schedule issues.
• Other job duties as assigned.
