Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Material and Production Planning Manager in Newtown, PA. You will design and execute strategies to optimize material flow, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction, while coordinating with Supply Chain for timely material acquisition.

The role emphasizes leading production planning, master scheduling, and production control activities, ensuring alignment of demand with capacity and material availability.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience leading a materials management, planning, and operations team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced expertise in master scheduling, production control, data analysis, and operational reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/S4 preferred) and warehouse management software (WMS).
• CSCP or CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow and reduce costs.
• Manage activities for setting minimum inventory thresholds, safety stock, and material control.
• Lead S&OP activities and production planning across programs and production control.
• Ensure alignment between demand, program requirements, capacity, and material availability.
• Oversee production status and coordination of production schedules.
