Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Sterling, VA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to act as a liaison between the direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners and the BTS fulfillment site. You will manage purchase orders, monitor lead times and expedite materials to meet commitments.

Key responsibilities include reviewing backlog, aligning supplier schedules with PO dates, and ensuring on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• This is an intermediate-level procurement role requiring strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; 2–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all commitments from demand planning groups meet product lead times.
• Resolve delays in material availability and expedite POs as needed.
• Monitor PO lead times and report on commitment attainment.
