The role requires planning, expediting overdue materials, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with Purchasing, Production, and Engineering. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of material management experience and proficiency with SAP, MRP, and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years material management experience
• Working knowledge of SAP, MRP, EDI, ASN, MPS, WMCS, APS, Excel

Responsibilities

• Requirements Planning: determine material requirements based on schedules and establish delivery dates.
• Workflow & Expediting: accelerate material flow and address overdue items to avoid bottlenecks.
• Inventory & Quality Control: maintain records and verify materials against specs and POs.
• Coordination: collaborate with departments to determine needs and move materials efficiently.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and read schedules while monitoring inventory.
• Use of computer systems and manual handling of small parts; PPE may be required.
