Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Unique to Sr. Material Planner: APICS classes or certification preferred
• Previous experience required in Supply Chain or related field
• Preferred experience in supply chain and project management or related field (0–3 years)

Responsibilities

• Manage Inventory Pipeline and order to target inventory levels; ensure on-time delivery to customers
• Coordinate premium freight orders and align transportation with customer and manufacturing
• Monitor obsolescence and balance carrying costs; minimize obsolete stock
• Act as liaison between customer and manufacturing; communicate delivery impacts and recovery timing
• Register parts in systems to receive EDI and transmit orders; support forecast activities
• Represent Production Control at customer and internal meetings
• Support long-range and short-term group goals and other duties as assigned
