Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Materials Planner (Resin Processing) to manage the inventory lifecycle of equipment, parts and assemblies. You will plan requirements, schedule deliveries and coordinate with Purchasing, Production and Engineering to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years material management experience
• Familiar with SAP, MRP, EDI, ASN, MPS, WMCS, APS and Excel

Responsibilities

• Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Schedule material deliveries and create sequencing plans.
• Expedite overdue materials to prevent bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and quality control records.
• Coordinate material movement with purchasing, production and engineering teams.
• Able to stand/walk in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Read engineering schedules and verify part numbers on labels.
