Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Perrysburg, OH seeks a Materials Lead to drive the materials organization at a world-class plastic injection molding facility. You will lead scheduling, inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control and cross-functional improvements to safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Responsibilities include setting strategy, leading the team, coordinating with procurement and supplier quality, and mentoring shop floor staff in advanced problem-solving to sustain automated operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, logistics, materials or related business management field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems and lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for the materials organization and lead inbound/outbound shipments.
• Lead materials planning, scheduling and internal material movement.
• Oversee inventory management and equipment.
• Lead capital projects to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Mentor shop floor teams and drive world-class materials processes.
