Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Materials Planner to manage material requirements, schedule deliveries, and expedite material flow on the manufacturing floor. This role collaborates across purchasing, production, and engineering to ensure on-time materials and optimal inventory levels.

The position emphasizes accuracy in records, adherence to specifications, and effective coordination with internal teams to support production goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years material management experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP, MRP, EDI, ASN, MPS, WMCS, APS, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Planning & Scheduling: Determine material requirements based on engineering and production schedules.
• Workflow & Expediting: Accelerate the flow of equipment, materials, and assemblies according to priorities.
• Inventory & Quality Control: Maintain inventory records and verify conformance to specs and PO terms.
• Coordination: Confer with department heads to determine current and future needs and coordinate material movement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field
