Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Materials Planner to manage the inventory lifecycle of equipment, parts, and assemblies, ensuring smooth material flow to meet production goals. You will perform requirements planning, scheduling, expediting overdue materials, and maintain precise inventory records across purchasing, production, and engineering teams.

This role requires on-site presence on the manufacturing floor and the ability to read schedules, verify part numbers, and manage material

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years material management experience.
• Working knowledge of computer based software and scheduling tools: SAP, MRP, EDI, ASN, MPS, WMCS, APS, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Planning & Scheduling: determine material requirements based on schedules and establish delivery dates.
• Workflow & Expediting: accelerate material flow and address overdue items.
• Inventory & Quality Control: maintain records and verify material conformance to specs and PO’s.
• Coordination: align with purchasing, production, and engineering on material needs.
