Job summary

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS is seeking a Materials Management Advisor – Material Coordination for a 6+ month contract to work on site in Schriever, LA. The role focuses on establishing material planning processes and coordinating with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet business needs.

The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, apply demand planning tools, and drive performance improvements across the Materials Management team.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools used to support material planning and coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively within a functional matrix organization and influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Capture material demand and coordinate the supply with procurement and Materials Management teams.
• Apply demand planning tools to improve scheduling and alignment with business needs.
• Identify risks in material demand planning and coordinate mitigation actions.
• Manage Materials Management service providers and monitor performance against SLAs.
• Develop resource plans and support continuous improvement of supply chain performance.
