JOB DESCRIPTION
The Materials Management Advisor (Material Coordination) is accountable to establish systematic material planning and coordination processes following OMS and Materials Management common process.
Responsible for working with Line stakeholders to compile demand for materials in support of on-going activities and coordinating work with procurement and other materials management teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to meet business requirements.

Key Accountabilities
- Work with all operating functions and entities to capture material demand and coordinate the supply of materials with procurement and MM teams to meet the business requirements in effective and efficient manner.
- Responsible for the use and application of demand planning and coordination tools and techniques to support and improve demand planning and scheduling processes.
- The MC Advisor is responsible to identify, communicate and prioritize risk mitigation activities related to Material Demand Planning and Coordination.
- Management of MM Service providers’ performance in accordance with agreed scope of service.
- Develop measures and monitor annual performance and resource plan for the team, ensuring that all enablers required are available to deliver the strategy.
- Support identification of excess and surplus inventory
- Provide strategic direction to team, align team activities to procurement and stakeholder priorities, empower team members to develop plans and execute.
- Understand and conform to demand planning and coordinating requirements.
- Develop resource plans for the team, ensuring that all enablers required are available to deliver the strategy.
- Support continuous improvement of supply chain performance.
- Actively participate in the Material Coordination Discipline network.
- Drive process and data standards in close alignment with Process & Systems guidance.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other relevant technical discipline.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
- MM related process and systems knowledge and/or hands-on experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and various reporting tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills effective communication, and ability to work effectively within a functional matrix organization and influence leadership and operating function stakeholders.
- Strong commercial skills and ability to make effective decisions based on economics in the best interest of the company.
- Understanding of equipment and materials employed in energy business.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, inventory modelling techniques or inventory accounting.
- Field experience working and/or supporting inventory control, warehouse, and/or inbound logistics in the oil and gas sector or other industries.
