Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer purchase orders for compliance to contract terms.
• Executes Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) weekly.
• Monitors materials pipeline to meet MRP requirements and address supply issues.
• Attains inventory goals for assigned customers or commodities.
• Ensures material availability to support production per the Master Production Schedule.
• Negotiates terms with suppliers to reduce cost and optimize cash flow.
• Executes corporate contracts and ensures adherence to terms.
• Maintains data integrity to minimize liabilities and optimize working capital.
• Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance; coordinates with procurement teams.
• Requests and analyzes supplier quotations for items meeting specifications.
• Assesses impact of forecast/production changes on procurement.
• Develops supply chain programs to drive efficiency and cost reductions (e.g., Kanban, safety stock, VMI, EDI).
