Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
• APICS Certification (CSCP/CPIM) is a plus.
• Experience with MRP and supply chain analysis.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices for electronics and related agreements.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer purchase orders for compliance to BHE or customer’s contract terms.
• Analyzes, and executes Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) on weekly basis.
• Monitors materials pipeline to ensure it meets MRP requirements and addresses supply issues.
• Attains inventory goals for assigned customers or commodities.
• Ensures materials availability to support production per Master Production Schedule via MRP execution and on-time delivery.
• Negotiates terms with suppliers to reduce materials liability and costs.
• Executes corporate contracts and ensures supplier adherence to terms.
• Maintains data integrity to minimize material liability and optimize working capital.
• Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance; addresses issues with procurement team.
• Requests and analyzes quotations meeting design/specifications and checks price reasonableness.
• Assesses impact of forecast and production schedule changes on procurement.
• Develops supply chain programs (e.g., Kanban, safety stock, VMI, EDI).
