Job summary

Requires 3-5 years in purchasing or planning, ERP experience (Baan or equivalent), and preferred APICS certification. Four-year degree preferred. Strong Excel skills and excellent communication are essential. Full-time, first shift.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• APICS certification preferred.
• 3-5 years in purchasing or planning accounts/commodities.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems (Baan or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes planning and purchasing activities to optimize inventory balance across the supply chain network.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries while minimizing carrying costs.
• Coordinates with customers, suppliers and internal teams to manage AVL choices and alternates.
• Monitors inventory levels and generates action plans to achieve site inventory goals.
• Performs cost-reduction analyses and supports supplier negotiations to reduce material costs.
• Supports EOL and NPIs and assists with engineering changes as needed.
• Ensures alignment between demand, forecast, and production schedules.
