Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated is seeking a Materials Manager to drive production planning, inventory control, and supplier performance across our Wisconsin facility. The role oversees material management, S&OP coordination, and cost-target development for new components to meet customer demands.

You will collaborate with program management, manufacturing, engineering, and procurement to optimize inventory, lead times, and service levels while supporting our AOP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business, Supply Chain, or other related degree. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years supply chain or related experience including significant leadership.
• Minimum of 3 years ERP system experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of previous S&OP processes experience.
• ISM or APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials management including storage, inventory control, shipping and receiving, production planning.
• Lead S&OP processes and coordinate with program and production scheduling.
• Drive continuous improvement in supply chain, lead times and on-time delivery.
• Develop cost targets for new components and manage supplier performance.
