Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Materials Manager to lead the materials organization across aircraft production, completion, maintenance, and spare parts distribution. You will mentor several Supervisors and work with analytics to optimize inventory, warehousing, and production control.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6 years in materials management and at least 1 year of people management, with aviation or manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 years experience in materials management, materials planning, warehousing, inventory control or related roles.
• 1 year experience managing professional level employees or program/process management; aviation or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing materials team across multiple business lines (production, maintenance, aftermarket).
• Oversee materials flow, inventory, warehousing and distribution to support operations.
• Drive best practices in warehousing, distribution, and production control.
• Establish KPIs to monitor cost, compliance, and performance.
• Communicate updates to leadership on performance and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and transformations in materials ops.
