Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Materials Management Principal SME to lead strategic materials management initiatives and optimize inventory, procurement, and governance across sites.

You will report to the Supply Chain Director and work on a hybrid schedule to drive cost efficiency and supply availability. In this role you will partner with Production, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams, mentor planning teams, and advance SIOP processes while maintaining data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in materials management in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years in materials planning systems and ERP software.
• 5+ years using supply chain workflows and regulatory compliance for materials handling.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional collaboration in materials mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic leadership and governance in materials management.
• Analyze and optimize inventory strategies, procurement processes, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials management.
• Develop, monitor KPIs for annual planning and leadership reporting.
• Govern master data per Global Data Management standards and SIOP.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Mentor planning teams across multiple sites.
• Drive change and standardization of planning practices.
