Job summary

You will report to the Senior Director Materials Management and drive strategic oversight for a streamlined, cost-effective supply chain, enhancing production deadlines and overall business resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in materials management, procurement, and logistics.
• 6+ years of team leadership and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive materials management strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production schedules, forecast demand, and establish procurement plans.
• Guide procurement activities including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management; build relationships for reliable supply.
• Oversee inventory levels, minimize excess/obsolete stock, and maintain uninterrupted material flow for production.
• Manage logistics and distribution, coordinating with transport providers for cost-effective delivery.
• Foster communication with production, quality control, and finance; address materials-related issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
