Job summary

AV is seeking a Procurement Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials supporting production schedules and inventory targets. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve logistical issues and maintain accurate records.

The role requires collaboration across purchasing, receiving, and production, with a focus on cost-efficient and reliable material flow. This position is on-site in Petaluma, CA, with ITAR considerations and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• AS/AA Degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP/ERP exposure helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory and anticipate shortages or excesses.
• Review purchase orders and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to prioritize open orders and advise buyers of changes.
• Coordinate with Receiving to inspect inbound materials and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain records of material transactions and update inventory systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and reduce costs.
• Resolve shipping delays or damaged goods promptly.
• Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and transport providers for smooth material flow.
• Support development and implementation of inventory strategies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to pull in or push out purchase orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
