Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Materials Expeditor to manage aftermarket procurement, planning, and material expediting to meet production and sales ship dates. The role involves issuing work orders and purchase orders, coordinating direct shipments, and expediting components through suppliers, plants, and warehouses.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, logistics, or procurement.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems and order fulfillment processes.
• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and manage purchase orders to support schedules.
• Schedule shipping dates and expedite materials to meet production deadlines.
• Coordinate with suppliers, plant, and field teams to resolve issues.
• Provide shipment notifications and updates to customers and internal teams.
• Reconcile order holds and assist with contract-related issues.
• Support Sales and Planning teams to close QMS action items.
