Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Procurement, or related field; or Associate's Degree in one of the same disciplines and two years of applicable experience; or a High School Diploma/GED and four years of applicable experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in Supply Chain or related business experience, including experience in Materials Coordinator Associate or similar role.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be available 24x7 for emergencies related to material requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review material requests to determine cost effectiveness of fulfilling orders from suppliers or inventory.
• Monitor open material requests and purchase orders to identify materials for expediting or alternate sourcing.
• Monitor daily inventory reports for exceptions.
• Train others on the Materials Management system as needed.
• Serve as liaison for the central Materials Management team and provide feedback on inventory strategies.
• Review Materials Management processes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure material is available to support construction/maintenance needs of the unit.
