Job summary

Hyson is seeking a Buyer in Brecksville, OH to manage end-to-end procurement of direct and indirect materials for our precision manufacturing operations. You will issue POs, monitor deliveries, and maintain accurate supplier data in our ERP system.

Collaborating with engineering, operations, quality and finance, you will source new materials, negotiate pricing and terms, drive cost reductions, and resolve supplier issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering.
• 3+ years in purchasing/procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience issuing POs, expediting, and resolving delivery issues.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Epicor/JBA).
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage POs for direct and indirect materials.
• Monitor open POs and communicate delivery risks.
• Resolve shipment and invoicing discrepancies with suppliers.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, RFQ processes.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance.
