Balance Staffing Company is seeking a Material Planner to maintain an efficient flow of materials, collaborate with production, procurement, and sales, and ensure on-time delivery. You’ll analyze data within the ERP system to schedule firm work orders and drive continuous improvement in material availability.

The role emphasizes coordinating with multiple teams to resolve shortages and optimize manufacturing workflows, with a focus on accuracy and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent.
• ERP experience, specifically Sage.
• Scheduling certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Possesses strong analytical thinking.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives effective material flow to meet customer contracts and delivery dates.
• Using forecasts, lead times, and customer orders drives efficient manufacturing workflows.
• Plans and schedules material flow for each operation according to established sequences and lead times.
• Monitors material requirements and availability coordinating with inventory and procurement.
• Communicate with production team to prioritize shipments, special projects and safety stock.
• Communicate with customer service and sales about critical orders and daily orders.
• Coordinate with design engineers on part number setup and First Article Inspection requirements.
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory control to resolve shortages or delays in production.
