Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Production Materials Planner to convert sales pipeline, booked orders, and vendor lead times into executable material and shipment plans. You will balance timely delivery with minimal inventory and costs while collaborating across Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance.

The role requires 3–5+ years in materials or supply planning, strong analytical abilities, and hands-on ERP/MRP experience.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory planning or related field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret demand and lead-time data.
Ability to forecast material requirements and balance customer delivery with inventory.
Experience with ERP/MRP/order management or supply chain planning systems.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

Forecast equipment requirements from sales pipeline, orders, lead times, and inventory.
Schedule orders and shipments to meet delivery dates while minimizing inventory and cost.
Monitor inventory by SKU, vendor, project, and customer commitments, flagging issues.
Coordinate with vendors on acknowledgements, ship dates, and staged releases.
Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP and generate inventory/ supplier performance reports.
