Job summary

Allmand, a Generac company, is seeking a Senior Production Planner to develop and maintain the master production schedule across product groups and plants.

You will analyze demand vs supply and coordinate with operations, materials, procurement, finance, and product management to align plans with customer demand and capacity. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data quality, and continuous improvement of planning processes, with strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is required.
• 5+ years in production planning, master scheduling, or related planning role.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains the master production schedule for assigned product groups, plants, or value streams.
• Reviews demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability to identify imbalances and propose solutions.
• Supports SIOP/IBP preparation with planning analyses, scenarios, and inventory projections.
• Collaborates with operations, materials, procurement, finance, and product management to align plans with demand and capacity.
• Monitors schedule attainment, forecast consumption, and MRP outputs to ensure delivery commitments.
• Maintains planning bills of material, MRP inputs, lead times, and master data for accurate outputs.
• Coordinates cross-functional review of supply constraints and escalation of issues.
• Supports new product introductions and phase-outs by evaluating inventory, capacity, and timing.
