Job summary

LHH in Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production planning for a complex, custom manufacturing operation. You will balance demand, material availability, and capacity to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining efficiency.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the master schedule, coordinating with operations, procurement, and leadership, and analyzing constraints to optimize throughput. ERP/MRP expertise and APICS certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, material planning, and production workflows.
• Experience working within ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a master production schedule aligning demand with capacity.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, customer-facing teams, and leadership to support objectives.
• Analyze capacity constraints and adjust schedules to optimize throughput and delivery.
• Utilize ERP/MRP to manage schedules, routings, lead times, and materials.
• Monitor KPIs and provide visibility into production progress and inventory.
• Participate in planning meetings and drive scheduling-related improvements.
