Job summary

Gerard Daniel Worldwide is seeking a highly analytical Master Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and manage the flow of materials across the manufacturing cycle at our Fontana facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the listed fields or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of master production scheduling and capacity planning in a high-volume metals/manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on ERP/MRP experience supporting production and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience presenting operational data and KPIs to management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust the master production schedule for manufactured and purchased goods.
• Provide accurate customer promise dates based on backlog, capacity, and priorities.
• Manage rush orders through the manufacturing process and keep a rolling 26-week schedule.
• Coordinate production plans to align objectives with capabilities.
• Manage work orders from release to final closure and ensure routing steps are completed.
• Monitor progress and address issues that impact schedules and throughput.
• Analyze capacity and resource utilization to optimize production performance.
• Partner with Procurement and Sales to align material requirements with demand.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Generate reports and KPIs to monitor schedule adherence and service levels.
