Job summary

GD Energy Products, Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Master Scheduler to lead the master production schedule, align plans with demand, and optimize inventory across the plant. You will forecast, plan, and coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and Operations to maximize service levels and efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in production scheduling within a manufacturing setting, strong Excel and SAP/ERP skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an accurate master production schedule balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and resources.
• Analyze forecasts, historical demand, and sales trends to improve forecast accuracy.
• Plan, monitor, and track monthly shipping objectives aligned with delivery requirements.
• Coordinate schedules based on orders, material availability, labor, equipment, and priorities.
• Monitor material movement and adjust schedules for delays or shortages.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Customer Service, Sales and Operations to resolve conflicts and ensure material availability.
• Optimize inventory levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to maintain schedules and planning data; generate performance reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning, inventory, and efficiency.
• Lead or participate in S&OP activities.
