Job summary

Gerard Daniel Worldwide is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and manage production plans ensuring on-time delivery and optimal use of materials and capacity.

You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Sales to align schedules with customer requirements and inventory constraints. This role emphasizes data accuracy, ERP/MRP utilization, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in production scheduling or planning.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production planning principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules for manufactured and purchased goods.
• Provide customer delivery dates based on capacity, material availability, backlog, and priorities.
• Release and manage manufacturing and subcontract work orders from initiation through completion.
• Monitor work order progress and communicate delays or issues.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Sales to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review BOMs, inventory levels, and material availability to support production.
