Job summary

DwyerOmega in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain master production schedules across multiple departments, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal resource use. This role links demand planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, and supply chain to drive planning excellence at the plant.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, capacity alignment with demand, and continuous improvement of planning processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; Associate’s degree required.
5+ years of production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting SIOP/S&OP processes in manufacturing.
Experience in high-mix, configurable, or engineered-to-order environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules across multiple departments.
Align production capacity with customer demand, inventory targets, and revenue goals.
Communicate production priorities to plant schedulers and operations.
Partner with customer service, operations, scheduling, and supply chain to balance supply and demand.
Work with manufacturing and engineering to resolve capacity constraints and bottlenecks.
Support SIOP by providing inputs on production feasibility.
Manage planning parameters within ERP/MRP systems and standardize processes across departments.
