Job summary

Dometic in Sparta, TN is seeking a Master Scheduler to coordinate and plan production across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment. The role reports to Production Control and requires independent judgment and strong communication with production, Customer Service, and management.

The successful candidate will develop master production schedules, manage demand, and optimize inventory while ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, or equivalent Master Scheduler/Production Planner experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Office programs knowledge.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize master production schedule based on demand and capacity.
• Convert customer demand into daily/weekly schedules across departments.
• Communicate production plan changes to relevant teams.
• Monitor adherence to schedules and identify deviations.
• Optimize inventory levels and labor/equipment utilization.
• Provide lead times and schedule information to Customer Service.
• Coordinate capacity planning across production areas.
• Integrate ERP inputs for planning and scheduling.
• Report forecast changes to management and align ERP schedules with customer requirements.
